The Ocean
It can be calm and comforting
And also wild and fun
It has ups an downs
Waves dipping with the tide
But those ups and downs
Make it what it is;
Without them it would be just a lake;
Not the truly magnificent ocean.
Its sheer openness
Allows it to understand parts of the world
Some can only drean of understanding.
The ocean will always be there
